Glorious
Within Temptation is a talented band from Holland or Netherlands if you prefer who's lead singer is Sharon den Adel and she's as pretty as her voice is. There's a video of one of the songs on the album and she's a knockout. The music is symphonic metal with orchestral and choir backing. It is highly melodic and enchanting. If you know and like the band Nightwish then this is for you.

Black Symphony was a unique concert at Rotterdam's Ahoy Arena on February 7, 2008 sold out months in advance. Within Temptation performed to 10,000 fans with the 60 piece Metropole Orchestra and a 20 voice classical choir, as well as on stage stilt performers, costume changes, and an array of stunning pyrotechnic and lighting effects.

Unless you hate music in general, you'll love these two albums. This package is a bargain, since these cds cost $30 a piece here in the U.S. if you buy them at a music store. Exceptional
Exceptional album - as good (or even better) as "The Heart Of Everything". A really pleasant surprise for an old fan of Purple, Zeppelin and Heep. Either it is symphonic-, epic-, or female-fronted metal, doesn't matter. The music is good, the performance is amazing.

I found this group completely by accident watching videos on youtube this is the first time in years that I've enjoyed nearly the entire CD of a band. Usually its one or two songs and the rest are crap or just okay. Not Within Temptation every song is incredable. Top band of their time.
Within Temptation is one of the best bands that I have heard in years. With Sharon den Adel's hypnotic voice, you are pulled into the song. The enchanting symphony ignites the hauntingly beautiful vocals.
"Memories," plays across the soul and burns you with the desire to remember and embrace life.

Moved to tears!!!!
It's only a two tracks cd single, I own also the maxi-ep issued in Germany with the multimedia track on it and 2 acoustic tracks, and I have to tell that Sharon's voice moved me to tears again! Two tracks are not enough to appreciate Sharon's voice but it could be a good way to start a new journey into Within Temptation's music! Enojy!

This cd was not as good as the Silent Force CD but lets face what cd is? That was just an exceptional cd. Still do I love most of the songs on the heart of everything disc. The crossing is one of my favorites because of its unusual style.
