This is an amazing album, the one you expect from a well developed artist like Jesse Cook. The first five pieces are astonishing, but above all "rain" is simply a blue marvel. If youre looking for a new fresh flamenco music take it.

A Serendipitous Masterpiece
In history, seemingly all great things are happenstance. One could certainly say the same about this serendipitous recording. A quiet, gentle, beautiful record of 8 songs (and 2 reprises) it created a time capsule of that era that surprisingly stands up to todays standards. A great album to relax to, put it on when you need to seriously unwind without drugs or alcohol. It works amazingly well.

Hay madurez y contenido social en sus letras, los ritmos son contagiosos, y estoy en desacuerdo con la persona que califica como repetitivo el sonido de este trabajo discografico. Karryn Allyson is a fantastic singer that faced challenges like her version of Ballads, but the challenge in this CD is far more relevant as she sings in Portuguese like a Brazilian soul and picked some tunes that really surprises us.
