Great Set! "Wow! Thats what my son said when he got it. This is really a great drum set for this aspiring drummer. It even took my breath away. Couldnt ask for anything better. The quality of sound produced also just blows me away. The sturdiness is also awesome. It is also very beautiful. I have put it in its rightful place in my living room. Thanks once again.". Will soon include a video review to show ...

GP55 Child Size Junior Drum Set with Seat, Sticks & Cymbals - Black 1 review

Excellent Bargain I wondered what type of quality I would be getting for this low price.
I was extremely surprised at the sound and quality of the set.
My son is really pleased that after assembly, he could start practicing right away and not have the set sound tinny and cheap.
5 star recommendation!

Instructions on how to get the Trigger Finger to work with Propellerheads Reason I just got this today and it was really hard to figure out how to make it work in reason so I'm posting what worked for me here.
To get trigger finger working in reason set the global midi channel to 1. To do this press 'save & exit' and 'exit' at the same time to enter edit mode. Use the channel slider to select channel 1.
Press 'save & exit' and then hit a pad to save it. Then to assign ...

Ludwig Accent Combo 5 Piece Drum Set - Black 5 reviews

Excellent value with professional sound This is a solid kit that will serve the beginning-to-intermediate drummer well. The hardware is solid and stable, and the tonal quality of each drum is excellent with minimal ringing. The two critical hardware features - hi-hat stand and bass pedal - are sufficient for beginning and intermediate drummers, but are a bit unresponsive for pros. To complete this kit I recommend getting good ...

Darn nice entry level electronic drum kit for the price I got the Sam's Club version of this kit for Christmas. While it doesn't have the sampling or multiple strike areas of some of the fancier kits it does have audio input for an ipod or other devices and it has MIDI outputs so you can record your 'jams'.
Set up and connection is simple. There are 20 preset 'kits' and 10 available slots for programming your own kits/sounds. I'm impressed with ...

Teaching music to youngsters Music tunes into a part of the brain that might be connected to math skills. In any case, making music is fun, it's participatory and it teaches about rhythm, counting and doing things cooperatively. A collection of percussion instruments like blocks, and percussion accessories like triangles, sleigh bells are great to keep in a box for kids. Take them out and have the kids keep time along with a ...

West Music 6" Steel Triangle with Striker & Holder 1 review
The Gold Standard for Steel Triangles! This is a resonant, yet focused, triangle.
Head's up: Don't make the same mistake I did by ordering it for a son before he puts in the years of practice necessary to play it well.

Gathering Drum 4 reviews
Remo

Can't Be Beat! OK, it *can* be beat ... with the mallets. It has a wonderful tone for a synthetic drum. If you're hoping for the subtle bass of a hanging gathering drum made of hide strung over wood, you'll be disappointed. Taken for what it is, though, it can anchor a drum circle, whether of adults or kids.
Mine arrived yesterday and I dragged it in to work today. We closed our final group with a drumming ...

Basic Beat 8" Single Hand Bongo 2 reviews
Excellent!! Perfect. Sturdy and well made. Can get loud when
using the 2 included mallets.
Takes a beating from me. Shoulder strap included.
Very convenient to play.
Great for hand slapping too.
This is not a good choice for small children.
This is like a real instrument. I am impressed.
Have fun!

First Act 8 Piece Drum Set MD8900091 2 reviews

First Act Inc.
Quality Starter Set - Great Price This is a very well built set for the price. Considering it's First Act which is typically a 'starter' set - this has a lot of detail and quality built in that you typically don't find at this price. For starters, it is a complete 8 piece set including high hat and throne. The stands feature double turned steel reinforced feet which make it more stable and supportive. Beware - this does come in ...

Remo Kid s Percussion Rain Forest Bongos
Remo
Remo
Part of the Remo Kid's Percussion Collection, the kid's bongos are specifically designed for smaller hands without sacrificing quality. The Acousticon shell is manufactured from recycled hardwood fibers and is unaffected by climatic changes; the Fiberskyn 3® heads gives an outstanding authentic ethnic drum sound. (Remember, since the heads are not tunable each set of drums may have slightly different pitches.) No stand is available for ...

Remo Rhythm Club Bongos 1 review
Good bongos for the money. These are great for kids. They don't need to be "tuned" (adjusted) so they are always ready for play. Got them for our twin 5 year olds last year. At 6, they're still playing with them regularly.

Great set of starter bongos, especially for children I purchased this set of bongos as a birthday present for my 7 year-old son. They came out of the box pretty much ready to play, just a few turns of the tuning wrench had them good to go. I was pretty impressed by the sturdy construction and the real skin heads.
My son has been happily beating on this set for a couple of weeks now, and he seems to really be enjoying them. The skins have broken ...

Wuhan China Cymbal, 14 Inches 3 reviews

Not too big...Not too small either For those who need something trashy and raw for their kit, this cymbal is the answer to your prayers. The 12" china cymbal is a best buy because of it's nice round price, but personally, I think it's a little too small to produce a full, rich tone. The 18" and larger Wuhans are just too big to get a quick-decaying, yet delicate sound and feel from. The 16" is also a pretty good buy, and ...
