They work, but then the battery cost gets a little high. When they have battries in them they work perfect, when the battries start to fail the Voles (california mole)come right back in the yard. So staying on top of the D cells is very important. I tried the solar ones and they are junk, this is quality product and works for my needs.

Good protection against otters
This works well to keep otters off of docks and out of boats. Unfortunately, they only seem to last about one year. I have had otters poop all over a boat and dock and chew up boat seats. It's worth the price, for sure.

Have owned for a few years now and it is BY FAR the best sprayer I have owned. Husband uses it for traditional applications and we own a log home which requires constant maintenance and this is perfect for applications of many different liquid products. I ran this thing all year long here in Southern California. Its effect was fantastic. I had no nat problem anymore, although I hardly ever found any insects in the trap. This year it does not work. Why? The attractant needs to be replaced and the light bulbs. You find the attractant on the internet, but so far I am unable to identify replacement bulbs.
