Doing brilliantly
I bought a bunch of carnivorous plants including this one. It's doing very well in a shallow bog of distilled water made from a black plastic bag and a cookie sheet, although it should be noted that I live in a naturally hot and humid climate. It may not be so easy for others. It's the most successful bug catcher of the lot, so much so that I've just bought three more sundews.

Unless your humidity rivals that of a bog, you will probably need a well sealed terrarium to grow this plant. Great looking and easy to care for
This is one of my favorite carnivorous plants. It's striking to look at and easy to grow. I have a couple now growing in terrariums. Make sure you have plenty of head room and a bright enough florescent before trying this yourself. These guys grow over a foot high if they get healthy.

The seeds come with exact planting instructions. These are more complicated than I expected, including a cooling period. However, I followed the instructions, and about 1/2 of the seeds sprouted. These have been very slow to grow and I had a few fatalities transplanting. I now have two very cute Purple Pitcher Plant sprouts, about 1/2" tall. This was a really fun project.

Little Venus Fly Trap
I got this from my mother and love it! Named him Harold and though I don't have any flies to give him, he is growing well. You have to be diligent and make sure your trim any heads that start to turn black, and not let the plant dry out, but isn't that much work. I can't wait to get a bell jar for him and keep him in my windowsill.
