Great product. I have been needing this for several years.
I find that it helps to wet the leaves for a few days in advance of mulching. Our Live Oak leaves here in South Texas are as thick as shoe leather. Even after wetting and mulching, I still have to run them through the mulcher again at times.

Great for leaves and only leaves
Does exactly what it's supposed to do, chop up LEAVES (about 10 bags worth) down to one.
It doesn't do twigs well, vines, or anything thicker than a pencil. You will go through the cutting twines pretty fast.
Overall it's worth having if you have lots of trees on your property.

The electric current constantly arcs across a separator on the electrical grid. So, the unit sounds like it is constantly killing insects but is only making noise. It kills some bugs but it appears the arcing noise/light scares the insects away as they are flying towards the light. Not recommended.

GOOD POLE...
Sturdy, not flimsy....easy to put together. Would liked to have seen the inside dimension a little bigger because we put an outdoor rated extension cord inside the pole before we mount it in concrete. It's not big enough to get the plug through so the extension cord had to be spliced with that part of it placed inside for protection from rain, etc. It can be done...just takes a little more work ...

Is there truly a way to see if this product is working? I haven't noticed roaches any more at all, so I guess I can claim that the product did its job. I am very happy with my purchase.
