Both my husband and I are pleased with this attractive motion-activated light. It has a lens shield one can position on a portion of the sensor to block a desired area, for example, the seating area on our porch, which is exactly what we wanted. Not only do I like its simple lines, but I also like how it does not look like a utilitarian motion-activated light. Plus, it was shipped promptly.

Little Competition.....
There are not too many readily available Occupancy Sensors.
So this is about the only product I could find for a reasonable price at the local hardware store or online.
My main gripe is that like advertised here, it says it works with fluorescent and Incandescent. But thats certainly misleading as it only works with magnetic ballast fluorescent lights.

Perfect for front porch
I was tired of pulling out of my garage only to realize that 1) I left my front porch light on all night & 2) I have to go back into the house to turn the light off.
It looks good, it looks just like my old light fixture except for the white motion sensor ball in the middle - it doesn't scream "security light"

Great Way to "Go Green"
This product is pretty good, but since it utilizes solar engery, please be advised that the product MUST charge for at least 3 days prior to use. Also, the light doesn't shine as bright as the traditional model, but it certainly provides enough to see. All in all, it's a good purchase since it won't increase your utility bill and it's a good way to "go green".

Best Outdoor Flood For the $$
This is by far the best outdoor floodlight system w/motion detector for the money. Heath/Zenith has been in the electronics business for 80 years! The detector is adjustable to pick up the slightest movements or can be toned down to lower sensitivity so the wind, etc. doesn't trigger the lights to go on.
Easy installation, good quality construction, and great value.

2 complaints. 1 is that the little knobs you turn to adjust the settings are small and it's hard to read the indicators printed next to them. 2 is that the unit I received is not bronze, it's BLACK.

Don't waste your time with this one. It doesn't work with compact flourescents. The lights just repeatedly turn on and off. That's inexcusable for a lighting control product these days.

Nice lights for the price.
I was having trouble finding motion sensing lights that weren't obnoxiously large. These were the perfect size and, so far, they're working well. They look good too. On the low sensitivity setting the light is tripped at about 30 feet. The high setting picks up passing cars (at 60+ feet).
