We bake lots of breads, cookies, pies at our B&B and ranch store. Having these racks that fit in a commercial 1/2 sheet baking pan is just the ticket. If you put them in a pan, then if you glaze, or dust or whatever, the toppings don't fall all over. I've used this many times for the past two summers and it is great for grilling vegetables. Usually we put in some squash, zucchini, onions, asparagus, and mushrooms. Have not noticed any metallic taste and we do not keep it shiny clean. It has turned black and brown in places due to the food browning. We wash with soap and water and use it again kinda like we would a skillet.

The Stratus Rain Gauge is the one that the National Weather Service sends out to graduates of the NWS Skywarn observer training program. Got mine that way.
It isn't the easiest to read,especially over 1" where you have to decant the overflow volume into the central 1" graduate but it is very accurate as long as it is placed properly, out in the open. The price is right too.
