Shannon Drake

Zebra, 2000

Favorite Drake Novel

+ Close to 5 star, but a bit too much info at times.
+ Come the Morning

This is the first and the best Shannon Drake romance novel I have read thus far. Both of the main characters, Mellyora and Waryk are passionate and well rounded characters. The backdrop of Scotland and the feudal lord system works well with the main plot. It is a truly believable love story.

True Stuart

+ Moon Rise

Now, THIS is a Stuart novel. As the other reviewers have summarised the storyline so well, I won't rehash. Suffice it to say, that this one is firmly planted on my keeper shelf and won't be going a-nowhere any time soon. 'Moonrise' is yet another example of Stuart daring to be bad, and doing it ...

The Island Harp3 reviews
Jeanne Williams

AuthorHouse, 2000

Step Through a Window in Time

+ A masterpiece about the Isle of Lewis
+ A Poetic Saga Of The Heart Of A People

The writing is almost as lyrical as the harp in this rather desperate tale of the dispossessed crofters during the clearances of the 19th century. Research and background of island life and the history of the times is realistic. Grim circumstances for the hardworking folks determined to stay ...

+ A good read

Whew! I just finished this book and I think I was holding my breath the last few chapters - it was that exciting and oh soooo romantic. Beautiful Lauren MacRae was kidnapped as a child and held hostage by the English and it was in a dungeon she would meet the Englishman Arion du Morgan who would ...

No Marriage of Convenience (Avon Romantic Treasure)12 reviews
Elizabeth Boyle

Avon, 2000

Written with absolutely no intentions for sequel(s), author met her goal

+ Charming 4 1/2 stars book

I loved this book! I hated to see it end. I loved all the characters, and I can see why the author intentionally did not want to write sequels, and accomplished the task by being sure that every character in the book who was eligible (not to mention 'straight') for marriage got married in this ...

JAK Characterization at its Best!

+ Loved it
+ One of the BEST JAK's

Some might think that the characters in "Wildest Hearts" are boring and cliché, but JAK is known for her particular style of characterization, which obviously works considering the large JAK following. In "Wildest Hearts," Oliver Rain and Annie Lyncroft exhibit JAK characterization at its best. ...
