The Beatles and Philosophy (Popular Culture and Philosophy) 3 reviews
Open Court, 2006
Beatle Musings
+ Far more involving insights than the usual dry philosophy tome.
This wonderful book makes me think of the 1965 George Harrison classic, "Think For Yourself." It is a nice blending of Beatle music and the Beatles' career with philosophical concepts ranging from the basic to the esoteric.
Inveterate Beatle fans will undoubtedly enjoy it. It is an interesting ...

Amazon Kindle Replacement Book Cover 113 reviews
Amazon
It needs to secure better
I love the size, it looks like a quality product, I like the strap. I like how the cover wraps around like the cover of a book.
What I do not like is that the Kindle will not stay in the cover and it's so frustrating. I have read that some people use velcro which is what I will have to do.

Pink Floyd and Philosophy (Popular Culture and Philosophy) 4 reviews
Open Court, 2007
Shedding Light on the Dark Side of The Moon
+ A terrific book.. + Great Book!
Pink Floyd's music has always been a trippy joy for many, but unlike many of their contemporary counterparts in rock, many have found a unique deepness to their lyrics. Couple that with the stormy story of the band's existence and you have an area ripe for exploration. That is exactly what a number ...

Oui: The Paranoid-Critical Revolution Salvador Dali
Exact Change, 2004
Salvador Dal''s writings from the period in which he was most closely allied with the Surrealists have never before been translated into English. These short fictions, essays, and poems contain all the egotistic brio one might expect from Dal', but they also reveal an earnest and even sentimental artist. They document Dal''s friendships with fellow Spaniards Luis Buiuel and Federico Garc'a Lorca, ...
