Hollow Fields, Vol. 3

Little Lucy Snow should have been enjoying her first day at the town’s prestigious elementary school; however a macabre twist of fate sees her enrolled instead at Miss Weaver’s Academy for the Scientifically Gifted and Ethically Unfettered—also known as Hollow Fields. Located on the outskirts of Nullsville and run by the insidious Engineers, the grim boarding school dedicates ...

sweet!
+ volume 2 continues to please
well, THAT took awhile (thank you, tokyopop lunkheads). still, the second volume of christy lijewski's RE:play was worth the looooong wait. if you've already read the critically praised first volume, it's probably no surprise to you that volume two is further evidence of miss lijewski's uncannily ...

Hollow Fields Vol 2 (Hollow Fields) 2 reviews
Seven Seas, 2008
Better than volume 1 [which, by the way, was awesome]
+ Delve deeper into Hollow Fields
Volume 2 made Hollow Fields one of my currently running most favorite series. Volume 1 was cute and well done, but volume 2 starts getting rather dark as questions of immortality and other such deep subjects are posed.
Very marvelous. In my opinion, Hollow Fields fits right in on any manga ...

Applause
+ Decently done. + Sequels...
I am much more fond of this book than the first. I found the Domonique story of the first book to be sketchy. Lots of piecework, almost as if pages were missing-with all of the nightmare and none of the fairytale promised. I do like the other tales in the first collection, but overall I feel that ...

Fairy Tales Back to Their Dark Roots
+ Cute evil + I wish ALL fairy tales were like this
Before Disney changed things and made everyone think Fairy Tales are all about Bambis and fuzzy bunnies, Fairy Tales were dark, disturbing, and always had a meaning. Serena Valentino attempts to bring those fairy tales back to their dark roots, with art by FSc. And, for the most part, she ...
