Dinosaur Time (I Can Read Book 1) 2 reviews Peggy Parish
HarperTrophy, 1983
outdated dino ideas for kids
This is a poor resource for children who want to learn about dinosaurs, it gives outdated, incorrect information and illustrations to match. I had a copy of this book in elementary school and i kept it as a model of incorrect dino information.

good beginning reader
+ Mysterious things happen wherever Aunt Eater goes!
My six year old son did very well reading this book. There was enough of a challenge without it being overwhelming. He really liked the fact that this book has chapters. Made him feel even better about reading it. It is also a book he could read all on his own, and a cute story

The Big Balloon Race/Newly Illustrated Edition (I Can Read Book) 3 reviews Eleanor Coerr
Harpercollins Childrens Books, 1992
This is a true story for balloon lovers!
+ Exciting plot + MIDWEST BOOK REVIEW
Do you like balloons? If so, this is the book for you. The story is true and took place in 1882. I loved it. There were four characters: Carlotta, Ariel, Bernard, and Mr. Myers. I think kids and their friends should read this book. It did take a long time to read, but it was good.
