House 282 reviews Frank Peretti, Ted Dekker
Thomas Nelson, 2007
Almost great. Almost ruined by the preaching.
A very entertaining and imaginative horror novel with some great twists in the story and some good suspense. By about 300 pages in though, the novel becomes overtly Christian and starts to preach, a lot.
Without the cringe iducing final 50 or so pages I would have given this 5 stars. It gets 4 ...

Will Always Be A Classic
+ To be appreciated, not loved + Gothic romance
I honestly didn't think that I would enjoy this book as much as I did. :] It is a love and hate story. I wasn't fond of Catherine or Heathcliff, but i enjoyed the book. It took me a little while to really get into but after that i couldn't put it down! :] But if your looking for a happy story with ...

Three 225 reviews Ted Dekker
Thomas Nelson, 2006
WOW!!! Dekker hit something good here.
+ three + Excellent!
I have read several books before by Ted Dekker, and have been a fan since the first book. That first book was "Blink", which doesn't have much of the mind-bending content that Dekker has in some books, but after "Blink" I read the Circle Trilogy which does bend your mind some. Since then however, I ...

+ Inkheart + Too much literature!
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke (Hardcover)
Ok so I have to admit this book started off slow. Its boring for about the first half. But I stuck it out and read until the end and was so glad I did. This book is so magical you can imagine everything Cornelia Funke wrote down. This book made me think so ...

Inkspell (Inkheart Trilogy) 222 reviews Cornelia Funke
Chicken House Ltd, 2006
Amazing
+ Inkspell
I loved Inkspell - Absolutely loved it. It was in the series of books that first inspired me to write. The plot was just entrancing... who else ever thought of being able to read yourself into a book? Certainly many people wished they could, but I don't know of anyone else who has written about it. ...

Blood and Chocolate 312 reviews Annette Curtis Klause
Laurel Leaf, 1999
An underrated, good read
I think this is a good under rated book for teens who are into dark fantasy and romance like Twilight. The story is centered around Vivian, who lives with her werewolf clan while they try to coexist with humans. It shows the character change as Vivian goes from hating and feeling superior to humans ...
