DropShip Solutions

Wonderful game for my children!

Well thought out, age appropriate, hands-on, challenging, yet understandable to the kids...everything I wanted! The colorful body parts and the stick-on pieces make learning about anatomy so much fun. This game will be used a lot in my house because it works for different-aged kids.

Wonders of God's Creation

Questar Video, 1995

What a Science Video.

This is a great classroom video. Moody makes others, but this looks most appropriate for middle or high school classrooms. This tape has great time lapsed photography with views I had not seen before. This will be great to excerpt for a classroom.

One of our favorite elementary science project books! After tracing the outline of your child on a large roll of paper, each body system is explained, a picture of the organ is colored and pasted on their traced body, so that at the end you have an entire body with all organs and systems hanging ...

really good

We liked the story. It was fast-paced as all the Magic School Bus books are. The subject was well covered, lots of information on how germs harm the body and how our natural defenses help conquer them.

What's Inside You? (Starting Point Science)1 review
Susan Meredith

Usborne Books, 2006

kids conversation starter

This book covers much more than a parent/teacher might think to communicate about our bodies...it gets things said that we adults take for granted. Good starter book on the "body" subject for a three to five-yr-old.

What Happens to Your Food? (Usborne Flip Flaps)1 review
Alastair Smith

Usborne Books, 1997

Excellent kids science book

This book covers digestion in short, interesting facts with clear illustrations. There is just enough "grossness" to delight an elementary-aged child. Probably too long to read the whole thing to a 5 or 6 year old, but you could read a few sections. An older-elementary aged kid who was interested ...
