A wonderful book to hear

+ One of the Best Reads Since Dracula

I enjoyed listening to this book as I worked. The writing is descriptive and allows you to lose yourself in the story. After watching the movie, I recommend listening to these unabridged cds. The reader has a wonderful, clear voice that gives life to all the books characters.

Excellent!

+ Even the best books can annoying
+ pretty good conclusion

This book is an excellent ending to a great series. If you liked the five previous books of this series you are going to enjoy this one also. I would have to say that it was the best book of the series. I could have done without the cliff hanger about Acorna's daughter only because it makes me want ...

McCaffrey never disappoints. This is another winner in a wonderful series. My only disappointment was the "cliff hanger" ending. I can't wait to read the next one in the series.

Calm down people!

+ Women beyond belief

I haven't read this book in a long time, but I feel obligated to write a review due to the vast amount of controversy over it. First, let me just tell you my impressions of the book. I found it riveting to read. It is definitely a page-turner which keeps you hooked until the very end. The ...

Easily my favorite of all Robin McKinley's books

+ pretty good
+ Good Fantasy - Great Message

This book exhausted me. I bought it and stayed up all night to read it, and it left me feeling emotionally drained. It's very rare that I get so invested in a story, and in a character, but Lissar was both very real and very human, and I really CARED about what she went through and what happened to ...

This is one seriously facinating read!

+ A Wonderful Escape from Reality.

I may only be thirteen, but I know what I like...and I love this book. I've read a lot of books, a lot more than you know, and believe me, this is definately worthy of being the sequel to the already wonderful book, ACORNA. I found this book incredibly well thought-out and imaginative, with a ...
