Good family entertainment

These two films may not be the best in the effects department, but they're great fun the whole family can enjoy. Plenty of adventure without the gory violence of some other versions of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's story. John Rhys-Davies and David Warner are always fun to watch. The players really seem ...

LOST WORLD REVIEW

+ A Fantastic action series! Each episode is like a fun movie-serial
+ I couldnt stop grinning...

The Lost World was and still is a favorite of mine since it first came out in 1999. The remastering of this TV series is excellent... especially without the commercial breaks. The whole series (all three seasons) are highly recommended. The acting is good and the special effects with the ...

Not the definitive version, but not bad at all

+ Highly Commendable

The BBC's 2001 version of Arthur Conan Doyle's oft-imitated The Lost World is better than most (not saying much considering the low budgets and abysmal special effects of most versions over the past half century) but it still takes plenty of liberties with the source material. Bob Hoskins' ...

Good realistic story

+ The Best Film Ever! What Is With You People, All These Bad Reviews!
+ What's Not to Like?

The first JP movie was very flamboyant, colourful and fresh. This movie feel a bit gloomy, realistic and simple. I really liked this film for it's realism, it does not have the great story the book gave us, but it's still up there with the first film. I did expect a bit more variety of dinosaurs in ...

Great Show!!! great season!

+ Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World - Season Three
+ Unfinished Business. . .

TLW is an awesome show!!! And season 3 is as good as 1 and 2. It's very sad, there'll never come a season4...(though I still pray! ;) ) So, except for HotS1 it's a very good season. However HotS1 is very good too, but too many secrets unrevealed... Anyway, GREAT SHOW! GREAT SEASON!!!
