Star Wars Omnibus: Droids

This is an interesting book about droids and fills in some small niches in the Star Wars saga. It does get a little drab in the middle, but it is interesting to read. I would say on a 1 to 10 scale it is about a 5. Try to get it used and you won't be disappointed.

Star Wars Omnibus: Tales of the Jedi, Vol. 14 reviews

Dark Horse Comics, 2007

Excellent graphic novel

+ A little complex, but entertaining
+ Slow start and mediocre art but the stories more than make up for it.

Omnibus Tales of the Jedi is really my first experience with the Star Wars graphic novels published by Dark Horse. I must say that the experience was a pleasure. The book was entertaining and just has a great look about it. This one collects the earliest known tales about the Jedi and Sith ...

Dark Horse, 2008

Twisted, violent, light hearted murdering fun

I loved the movie with Jim Carey, this comic is nothing like it. Quite the opposite as a matter of fact. Its dark, bloody, twisted in a light hearted way. "Big Head" as hes referred to by the public, is a killing machine taking lives with a joke to boat. Basically there is an ancient mask that is ...

Interesting ideas, decent art, doesn't quite come together

In the mid-90s Dark Horse launched a superhero line called Comics Greatest World (later Dark Horse Heroes) with Ghost as one of their breakout stars. This series omits her first appearance (the Dark Horse Heroes Ominbus has it) but takes on the first several issues of her series. Ghost is a ...

Barb Wire Omnibus Volume 1

Dark Horse, 2008

The comics series that inspired the movie, Barb Wire is over-the-top, bad-girl action that opened doors for the plethora of today's tough-girl characters. Steel Harbor is a hell of a town, with the emphasis on hell, an urban wasteland of shuttered factories, decaying neighborhoods, and broken dreams. Crime and street violence are the soup of the day every day, but if you're a bounty hunter, every ...

Graphic SF Reader

I have seen omnibus one, but not omnibus two. This volume is certainly a lot more like it than the first, with the Sunnydale High School setting, and madcap vampire and demon slaying. This has to be one of the greatest comics I've ever read! These comics are way better than the movies, and this collection happens to have the best Predator comic I have ever read(Bad Blood)! The drawings in Bad Blood are all works of art, with wonderful detail, and no lack of horror. The comics ...
