Bones: Buried Deep (Bones)41 reviews
Max Allan Collins

Pocket Star, 2006

Good book that is fun to read.

+ Not bad, it was a nice way to pass the time between episodes
+ Early adventures of Booth and Brennan

This is an incredibly interesting book. It follows the tv series well, which is not always so easy with books of this sort. It is no great work of fiction and will never win any awards, but it will be a fun, easy book to read on a plane or when you need to give your brain a rest.

Berkley, 2001

Competent mystery, very good atmospherics

I'm of mixed minds about this whole trend of taking famous real-world people and turning them into murder-solving detectives. From a writer's standpoint, I can see why such an idea would be tempting -- not only do you get a "character" pre-invented, as it were, but you also, as author Max Allan ...

A book that makes you think about what you think

If you ever get a copy of this book, I believe that it is a must read. For ones who are narrow in your thinking, it will make you broader. For those who are prideful, it causes a humbling effect.
