Scott Lynch does it again!!

+ For Locke fans, this won't disappoint...
+ Seems like a sequence to a 3rd book

I absolutely loved this book! Our favorite thieves, Locke & Jean, up to their old tricks...and some new ones. Yes, the pirate aspect was unexpected, but it was simply a lot of fun. I enjoyed seeing more of Lynch's world and meeting some new and interesting characters. Trust me, if you liked ...

Lies of Locke Lamora Without question, one of the best books I've read this year and probably the best book in the genre I've read since I finished the last George R. R. Believe the hype

+ Lord of the Rings for the 21st Century, Part 1?
+ What a deep book!

I kept seeing Ender's Game recommended by others but it seemed like a young adult type book so I moved on several times. I finally couldn't ignore the shear number of 5 star ratings for this book. It lived up to it. I devoured the book in a few days (fast for me.) I was surprised to find that I ...

John Scalzi

Tor Books, 2006

I don't mind being a sheep in this case

+ Hooked from the fart and on the edge of my sheep the whole time.
+ Discovering a brilliant new author is like making a fabulous new friend...

It starts with a fart joke and just gets better from there. This book is a fun romp and I enjoyed the intricacies of the plot. It's clever and funny while maintaining the sense of urgency that drives the characters. All in all, a good read.
