Key Book of Key Conepts
+ A helpul guide for students of Gurdjieff
This work is a remarkable condensation, written with great clarity and comprehension, of the words and terms that appear in the writings by and about G.I. Gurdjieff. The entries devoted to Astrology, Enneagram, and Zodiac are particularly insightful and valuable. But those that explain meanings ...

Gurdjieff: A Biography 3 reviews James Moore
Element Books Ltd, 1999
Actually it's a good book
+ Scholarly and helpful objective history
I'll just say briefly that this book is the best biographic text of Gurdjieff available, and while it is a bit prolix it is not purple, as someone claimed. Actually I find it almost novelistically readable.

Life Is Real Only Then, When I Am (All and Everything Series, 3) 15 reviews G. I. Gurdjieff
Penguin (Non-Classics), 1999
One must 'see' to understand
+ Understanding Gurdjieff + Nothing much to discuss
This book, as all of Gurdjieff's works, are meant to make you 'think'. There are a many great gems in this book. However, like a great 4th Way teacher, he doesn't just hand them out like candy. You have to have the eyes to 'see'.
This book answered many questions for me, it was a great read.
