One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Book & CD (Book and CD)1 review
Dr. Seuss

Random House Books for Young Readers, 2005

Terrible series! Don't waste your money!

Awful, awful, awful! I would have given it zero stars, but that wasn't an option. The book is read MUCH TOO FAST for a child to follow along and turn the pages. The page turn signal is a tiny bell that is hard to hear and so short it gives no time to separate the pages and turn them. By the time ...

Robert Kraus

HarperTrophy, 1994

a good book

+ Classic Must-have

My next door neighbor, six years old, recently informed me, brightly, that she is in "the enrichment class." (Just imagine, I might have thought she was a late bloomer or, worse--gasp--average.) When did our children start being so aware of their giftedness, or non-giftedness? Nowadays, it does ...

Buz Words: Discovering Words in Pairs1 review

April Arts Press, 2006

Excellent book for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Graders!

A colorful book that helps younger kids begin to make sense of homonyms. I like the way the author, Maria Felicia Kelley, uses the phrase "pair words" to refer to the word, homonyms. The illustrations are charming and the characters (a mother and son) are relatable to young kids. Great book!

Freddie Fernortner Fearless First Grader

+ Predictable yet entertaining

These books are terrific books! My boys LOVE the stories and there is a "cliff hanger" at the end of each chapter. They hate to have to stop reading (or me reading it to them) at night to go to bed! A MUST HAVE in your child's collection!

What's more, he certainly won’t be getting squirted by Ben’s water pistol. But it's too quiet without Ben, so Sam writes his brother to say he “very really” misses him. Will Ben write back ...
