Asterix gets a little excercise in Greece

A bit of a change from other Asterix stories, this one lacks much usage of the famous "magic potion" when it would have helped, but the little Gaul manages just fine without. Very funny and a good lesson in ancient Greece.

Asterix and the Cauldron (Asterix)3 reviews
Rene Goscinny

Orion, 2004

One of my favorite books in the Asterix series!

+ The missing money
+ Great stuff.

If you love reading about Asterix and Obelix, then you'll really want to own this one! In it, the two intrepid Gauls need to raise a cauldron full of money after a theft threatens the honor of their village. It's clear that these two lack any kind of business sense, and the druid's magic potion ...

Cacofonix To The Rescue!

+ Good, funny story

This is one of the later Asterix adventures, and though not in the same league as the earlier ones, this still packs a punch. Cacofonix sings, it rains. Not very good. Though this time his singing, er... raining skills are in demand. And that too in India. Otherwise a princess will be sacrificed by ...

Asterix and the Great Divide (Asterix)7 reviews

Orion, 2007

Excellent book!

+ What could have been.

This is one of the best Asterix books. In it, Asterix, Obelix, Getafix, and Dogmatix set off to help out another village troubled by a terrible internal division and threatened by the Romans. The reader will be delighted as the heroes of the story work to drive off the Romans, bring the village ...

Super addition to your comic collection.

For some one 48 and getting older, I thoroughly loved this one. Remarkable ending to the usual Asterix comic. Loved the character of Dogmatix the dog in this issue.

A Great Addition to the Series

+ Classic Asterix

I have heard many bad things about this one, but as an avid fan of Asterix and other works of Uderzo (Iznogud, Umpah Pah, ...), I think this is a great story. The art work is superb, Uderzo certainly gets better with each story. The plot is funny, and Spartakis is great! I have some problems ...

Ladies Learning

There's a new bard coming to the village. There's a secret weapon coming to Gaul. They have a lot in common, they'll both stir up Gaulish tradition, and one has a crush on Asterix... "Asterix and the Secret Weapon" is Asterix #29, first published in 1991. I really liked it, though I never used ...

Tal vez la intencion fue buena...

...pero el resultado final no es a lo que nos tienen acostumbrados Asterix y sus amigos. De todas formas, considero que vale la pena leerlo, y por supuesto comprarlo, si uno se considera un fan de la serie.
