Dead Time 31 reviews Stephen White
Dutton Adult, 2008
"Dead Time" is a suspensful thriller for the older crowd.

PROS:
-Very thrilling! Very fast-paced book, you can expect to finish this book in 1-2 weeks.

Beginning 3 reviews Jerry Tiff
Outskirts Press, 2007
Lively Read
+ Beginning + Intricate webs, hard to put down
"Beginning" is a rapid read intrigue that is wry, dry, saucy, and seductive. When trade and politics mix it is a serious "business" causing consequences from the halls of Congress to California and Colorado. Nothing to Lose (Jack Reacher, No. 12) 271 reviews Lee Child
Delacorte Press, 2008
Great book!
+ Reacher Book - Nothing to Lose + I read it, and I liked it
Um . . . I don't usually argue with everyday reviewers but have to say that I sincerely believe that anyone who says he or she doesn't like this book is totally wacked. It's a fantastic read. Not much more to say than that. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys highly atmospheric intrigue.

Lush Life: A Novel 161 reviews Richard Price
Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2008
The Price is Right
+ TOUCHING THE LOST SOULS + Warning to crime novelists
Richard Price is as good of a dialogue writer as exists today in my mind. "Lush Life" is his latest novel that brilliantly showcases his skills and keen knowledge and insights of city life, particularly NYC life.
Other reviewers have already covered the plot so I won't spend my commentary ...
