This is a great book to add to my collection of books to be used in my zoo unit. I teach first grade and I'm always on the lookout for books to add to my classroom library. This one is really a good one to use for teaching fiction/nonfiction since it has a fictional story along with some facts ...

The Runaway Bunny 140 reviews Margaret Wise Brown
HarperFestival, 1991
Very nice book
+ Sweet + Nothing more than a classic transformation story
I just ordered books for my almost 2 year old grandchild. Out of the seven I sent her my daughter says that the baby loves this one the most. The pictures are nice in a vintage style of soft colors and pen and ink.
My grandchild listens while the entire book is read.

Excellent book!
+ Jesse Bear, What Will You Wear?
This is the perfect toddler book. I got it from the library for a homeschool lesson, and my daughter loved it so much I'm going to buy our own copy. The images are colorful and soft, with lots to look at. The story (or poetry) is very simple and short. I like how, even though the story centers ...

The Red Carpet 3 reviews Rex Parkin
Macmillan, 1989
Colorful
+ Bring this one out of mothballs! + got it fast
This classic 1948 children's poem is another "he-went-that-away." This time readers follow no insects, animals or children--but as the title suggests, a red carpet. The occasion for this silliness is the expected arrival of the Duke of Sultana at the Hotel Bellevue. The doorknobs were shined, the ...
