The Clave have gone overboard with the whole human sacrifice to the Sunbane thing, chucking whole towns into the pot.

The Dragonbone Chair (Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn) 270 reviews Tad Williams
DAW Trade, 2005
Wow! What a series!
+ Intelligent
Let me first make this clear, this review is for the entire series, and not just "The Dragonbone Chair". My favorite fantasy was, I repeat, was, the "Lord of Rings Trilogy". "The Memory, Sorrow, & Thorn Trilogy" replaced that by the time I had finished it.
I was surprised to see how many harsh ...

If you are a fan of The Lord of the Rings, this audio recording is must-have for your collection. I love to read and re-read the trilogy; there is something magical about these books. Shadowplay (Shadowmarch, Vol. 2) 33 reviews Tad Williams
DAW Hardcover, 2007
Great Sequel
+ An Improvement Over the First Book in the Trilogy
The second book keeps you just as interested as the first. The story line gets quite a bit more twisted around and many of the plots from the first are addressed and expanded on. Definitely worth the buy if you enjoyed Shadowmarch.
