Everlast 4004 Traditional Heavy Bag (40 lb.) 4 reviews
Everlast
Everlast, 2005
You get what you read, not what you see... It's a great, sturdy punching bag that never rips. But, the picture you see is either the 60,70,or 80 pound bag, the bag you get is about half the size of the one in the picture. Other than that it's perfect, I recommend gloves or bands to avoid burnned knuckles.

Everlast Wraps These Are great wraps for little money. If you're just working the bags as a hobby or just for something to get the blood flowing these are great. If you're really getting into boxing or any sort of pugalistic sport, spend the extra money on some gloves.

Hand wraps The 3 pak hand wraps are a great value. It works out well for my classes to have the extras on hand so I am not always ordering them for my members. My students seem to like the different colors, but being that they are all female, would like to see pink, blue and yellow!!!

Everlast 6-Piece Platform Bag Set 12 reviews

A Great Starter Kit, but needs a few upgrades This is a great value for the beginning boxer in your house. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the swivel that it comes packaged with. The one that's included is the most basic plastic swivel you can buy and after a few rounds of hitting the bag it would come unscrewed and end up getting punched across the room. I purchased the next step up in Everlast swivels for about $20 and the ...

Very nice quality gloves For $26 (what I paid) you can't beat these bag gloves with a stick. Sure, if you are a professional boxer and are planning on using your bag glove HOURS A DAY then spending a lot more on gloves made for professionals would make sense. I've used these a few hours a week ever since I got them and they are holding up just fine and are very comfortable and easy to put on and take off.

Simple, Classic, Quality This product is acceptable.
This is much easier to install if you have a good socket wrench.
The directions are written in extremely small type, and it is difficult to make out the diagrams. However, this is not a problem because, unless you are mechanically challenged, the item is self-explanatory. It is much easier to install the lag bolts into a wood rafter if you drill some small ...

DELUXE WEIGHTED GLOVES 2 reviews

Love This Glove! I bought these gloves to use with Chalene Johnson's "Turbo Jam" workouts, in lieu of the more expensive Turbo Jam weighted gloves. They work perfectly for my purpose, and I love the fit and feel of them. I have very small wrists, and the velcro-wrap design makes it easy to get them snug.
Some people prefer a glove with an open palm, because these do get sweaty during a hard workout, but I ...

Worth the price If you are looking for aerobic exercise or are limited by space. This punching bag will work well, for the money. Since it is inflatable, the bag is not made for hard punches, but more for technique and get that heart rate up. In my family everyone from a 3 years old to a 40+ has used it and they have enjoyed it.

Its hard My old head gear was really puffy and a hit wouldn't really go through. But I found out after an opponents power reaches a certain point that the puffy stuff doesn't work. When you go against someone with significantly less power you still feel it (with this gear). With puffy stuff you don't even feel it. This is great for hard hitters. If they don't hit hard, don't buy it. Yeah, it looks great ...

great for the price Great headgear for what you pay (especially when they are on sale). These will work for beginners, and for more advanced boxers who want to spar half-speed. I would not let anyone wear these who was going to take serious punches. Imagine an inch of thick-cell foam, and that is what you get. Velcro neck strap and velcro circumference adjuster ensure a tight fit.

A great heavy bag that's easier on the hands than a traditional heavy bag Hats off to the folks at Everlast Boxing for producing an excellent foam and water filled heavy bag. I have had arthritis in my hands for the past 6 years and this heavy bag has not given me any problems with my hands or knuckles. Although I say this bag is "easier on the hands", I cannot emphasiize enough how important it is to wear hand protection when you are working out or training. Handwraps ...

Excellent product, outrageous price. This is a good practice bag. The quality is fine, it seems to be evenly packed, and the fit'n'finish is acceptable.
Unfortunately, Amazon's price is a bit steep. They claim to offer "free" shipping, but the shipping costs are obviously hidden in the price. You can get this same bag, along with padded bag gloves, hand wraps, and Everlast's mounting kit, for less $$$ at Walm@rt. Plus, you ...

Don't use anything less. It's the right tool for the job. The bag swings correctly and totally improves your experience. Note: I had to re-drill the holes on my platform to accomodate the pattern of this swivel. The end result was unquestionably worth the effort. If you are using a cheap ball and hook swivel, you will never get the speed and tight bounce pattern you are seeking.

My Favorite Workout Equipment! I am the type it takes all my willpower to go to the gym, but I love my Wavemaster punching bag. I get a very nice cardio workout by creating a routine including repetitions and balancing exercises (try kicking in three different locations with the same leg without lowering it for 10 reps, and then switch to the other leg, phew!). The Wavemaster also is a very useful tool for letting out ...

Larger Everlast Hand Wraps 108" hand wraps (such as the Everlast 4455s) are too short for most people to properly wrap their hands, unless they have very small hands such as some females or juniors. If you have normal or large-size hands or use any wrapping technique that uses a lot of cloth, like one that wraps between each finger, I strongly recommend going with a 180" wrap such as these. It may seem like a long piece ...

Great Purchase These gloves are an excellent purchase for anyone who is in a boxing or kickboxing class or for the casual user who likes to hit the bag at home. I'm a small girl (5'3), with small hands, but after trying on the 12oz gloves at the store, I opted to purchase the 14oz ones off of Amazon instead. I'm extremely glad that I did because my hands fit inside the 14oz gloves perfectly whether I'm ...
