If you need to get a new or replacement GPS and your a dog hunter you have to really look at these. You can buy the handheld unit without the collar and at the worst you can use it as a regular GPS. We used these last bear season and there great. You just have to keep in mind the range, add on antenna a good option.

Bought this to replace the original strap that came with my Polar strap. As stated in other reviews, this new strap has changed from the older one that came with my watch. It no longer attaches directly to the transmitter on both sides. Instead it attaches at the end with a metal flat hook. The hook goes into a loop that is made of some sort of rubber material.

It is a good replacement
I lost my original belt after a half marathon run. The replacement was easy to link with my polar watch. It seems you can have multiple chest belt transmitters to a watch great if you are running multiple times in a time and hate wearing a wet belt :-)

The Suunto footpod works as advertised. Once you calibrate it according to your running/walking stride it is dead on. I calibrated it at a track by running 800 meters. If you if have the Suunto T6 and want to be able to track your distance and your pace speed get it.

Comfortable w/ replacable battery
I used this transmitter 4-5 days a week and it works great. It's comfortable, and washes well. I purchased this one since my original one had a sealed battery. I like the fact that I can take the transmitter off, and just wash this in the shower. And, when my battery runs out, I can just replace it.
If you are looking for a replacement Polar transmitter strap, this one will work great.
