My grandkids (7yrs, 6yrs, 5yrs & 21 months) all love this chalk! After a quick demonstration and explaination of 3D art work, they all dove right in...the stencils were a little difficult to use...a little large to hold down 1 handed and traced around. Fantastic!!
I didn't buy this product through Amazon but through the Target near my house.
There are 150 different crayons! A lot of them SEEM to be the same but they are not; just a shade different. These crayons are durable and I like the telescoping tower as it makes it easier to view the 2nd and 3rd level of crayons. I'm having a lot of fun with this product!

When I was little, I'd get a new box of these every Christmas. Sometimes it was just a box, sometimes it was one of the Christmas tins, and sometimes it was a creativity set (like the old art caddy or the case of crayons). Best idea since sliced bread.
Young children quickly outgrow an interest in crayons. Too messy, not easy for them to draw what they want and nothing discourages an interest in art quicker than having your art come out "wrong" in your own eyes.
Colored pencils are much better at detail but sharpening becomes an issue if they don't do it right, plus the sharpener does have a razor in it...

Excellent Markers with Excellent Storage
My kids ages 8 and 4 use these markers almost daily-I've had the set for about 2 months now. The markers work great and are still vibrant. I love the storage container which telescopes up when in use. It's a well organized system. I'd definitely buy it again.
