A Good Classic Game
My mother loved to play Connect Four with her grandchildren. It was a way for her to teach them from a young age to count four items; to sort two colors; to learn to look horizontally, vertically, and diagonally; and to win and lose politely. After she lost her ability to think fast and move her hands with dexterity, we could stimulate her by playing a game. We always had a good time with ...

LOVE IT!
This game is great! It is so much fun not knowing when Hulk is going to pop up! Best of all, I think it does a great job of teaching counting! I think I have as much fun playing as my son.

Great toy to teach colors and shapes
Great game to teach colors, shapes and taking turns. I bought this for my daughter when she was 2 years old and she really enjoyed it. She learned colors and shapes and how to take turns which at 2 was a little hard at first. Now at 3 years of age she still loves this game.

Just a whole lot of laughs!
This is a game that has been around for a lot of years that can get a good belly laugh from any age group young or old. This is a wonderful game to pull out on unsuspecting guests! Ha Ha HA!! It is even more hilarious to play after you have conned the reluctant player into participating. It is a great way for even the stiffest of the stiffs to learn to laugh at themselves in a healthy way that ...

Gator Golf - Great Game for Little Gals & Guys
For some odd reason, my daughter loves to golf. If you hand her a stick, baseball bat, or anything that she can hit a ball with, she will golf. I tried explaining to her that golf is not a real sport but she's 2. All she knows is that it is fun. *giggle* Gator Golf comes with 2 golf clubs of different color, and matching golf balls. The Gator, a motorized alligator head, rotates and ...

Nice step up from Candyland
I bought this for my daughter (3yrs old) who has enjoyed simpler board games such as Candyland. This is her first dice-driven game where she has to count the spaces and meet objectives. She loves Cinderella, and there are enough opportunities to reverse your fortune in this game that it keeps the adults entertained as well. This game has broadened her game playing abilities and given her a new ...

I Was Never That Hungry, Hungry
My 3 year old daughter loves this game. It is a pain to take it apart to store it. It appears to be durable if taken care of and not abused. The "marbles" aren't real marbles, and I think real marbles would be easier to play with, but maybe these are safer somehow. It's getting alot of use, and makes my daughter happy, which makes me happy, so I would recommend buying it.

Awesome Game
My 2 1/2 year old twins received this game for Christmas 2006. I knew nothing about it. When we finally got around to playing it, they couldn't stop. It is a year and a half later and it is still their favorite game. They are very active kids and love to spin and crawl and jump to the colors, shapes or category. As a teacher, I thought it was a great learning tool for them and in the winter ...

Fun for all!
My husband brought this home for our daughter and before we knew it all the kids were playing, clapping, singing and laughing. The were cracking up so much we started laughing with them. It is definately not a quiet game but if laughing and singing is what you want to hear this is perfect! They loved changing the layout and using their imagination to come up with different designs. They all love ...

All consuming
Our whole family played this game for three straight nights over the Thanksgiving holidays. We had 6 to 9 players at different times from age 7 through their parents and the grandparents. Everyone enjoyed all aspects of the game. It becomes very engrossing and competitive. Even the spectators enjoyed the excitement vicariously, especdally when everyone is looking for one item at once.I highly ...

Kids Love It
Well, Chutes and Ladders wasn't my favorite game as a child but I certainly enjoyed playing it. I have the "Dora Edition." She's a character I never heard of before purchasing it, but every kid I showed it to knew Dora the Explorer. Yes, I agree with another reviewer, the pieces are not very durable. Neither is the board for that matter but you get what you pay for and this happens to be one of ...

Love Getting Into Trouble!
I purchased this game when Hasbro had the rebates and made it an irresistible 4 dollars (on amazon)! We have quite a collection of Family Games for Family Night. This game is easily played by all, including our 5 year old. I guess it could help kids with counting, but as it only goes to six, not too much. But, what it does teach is patience and persistence. There is a tiny bit of skill involved ...

Much More Fun Than Anticipated!
This game was a birthday gift for my seven year old twin sons. As I've been through many a superhero game I figured we were in for the same old routine - directions that were overly complicated and way too much strategy for my young boys. To my surprise the entire family enjoyed this game (as is - with no direction modification)and the boys want to play it over and over. Basically each player ...

Everyone can enjoy this game
I bought this game when looking for a new game to bring with me in my first year of college. The first time I played it, I knew it was going to be a favorite. You split into 2 teams and while you're holding the buzzer, you have to try to get your teammates to guess the word by acting out, humming, describing, anything but saying the actual word. The real fun starts when the buzzer stats ...
