LeapFrog

Highly recommended
We are very impressed with this toy. It has tons of songs - even if he hits the same key twice it will play something new. We love the English/Spanish feature and my baby can't get enough. He's also been pretty ruthless on it and it hasn't broken.

Highly recommend!
After reading mixed reviews I hesitated buying this toy but I am so glad I bought it! Both of my 10 month old twins enjoy it. Even I want to play with it. My husband understands and appreciates music and he approved it too. He said this toy is not meant to be a musical instrument with a perfect sound but for a toy the sound is pretty good.

Fisher-Price Choo-Choo
My one year old grandson received this toy from us for his birthday. It is so colorful & attention getting he could hardly wait for us to get it unpackaded ( which by the way took forever - too much wasted packaging) so he could play with it. He carries the giraffe around with him all the time.

Tiny Love Gymini Super Deluxe - Lights&Music494 reviews

Tiny Love

Tiny Love, 2006

Worth the $$$
This mat has held up wonderfully to washing. The toys also can be carried along (car seat) and our son loves the music switch. Now he has learned to move it from on to off. This toy was worth every penny, I don't think a day in 6 months has gone by we haven't used it.

Great little "radio" for the baby
This little "radio" is very cute. My 7 month son loves pressing the buttons to turn it on and change the music and he likes the lights too. However, it does end up on the floor a lot! LOL - Even my 4 1/2 yr old daughter loves it! The music is classical music that you know from the Baby Einstein videos. The volume is a good level and not annoying at all. The music is soothing and you don't ...

Fisher-Price Rainforest Melodies & Lights Deluxe Gym51 reviews

Fisher Price

Fisher Price, 2006

Great gym
My daughter started using this gym when she was just over 2 months old. She would only play for about 5-10 minutes at a time she would mostly look at everything and hit things by accident. I always placed her feet on the crackly leaf. I added a few different toys like jacques the peacock and celest - sun/moon toy with a teething star that hung almost to the bottom, and her zebra. At 3 months ...

No other toy has maintained my son's interested from 3 mos old to now at 16 mons.
We bought this toy when my son was just 3 months old. It's amazing how he has enjoyed this through the months. He is now 16 months old and loves it just as much! He loves the balls popping out, the music, he now loves turning the switch on back off and on, tries fitting other objects in and discoverying if they will pop out too... great all-around toy.

Just get this toy and that's all you really need in the first few months
Great colors and textures, the back of the peacock is in black and white patterns! My 2 month-old son loves to look at both sides and pull at the tags, I am sure he also likes all the different sounds the toy makes.

The nephew loves it!
We bought this sand and water table for my nephew's 2nd birthday. He absolutely loves it, and the umbrella is great for shading him from the Texas sun. He especially loves that he can 'drive' his Lightening McQueen and Mater hotwheels all over the lid. This is great value for money. The construction is sturdy, and withstands my tornado-boy nephew.

Great, portable toy!
This is one of my son's favorite toys. He first started paying attention to it at about 2 months, mostly because of the bright colors, I think. He's now nearly 5 months old, and he enjoys grasping it so it crinkles, chewing on the attached bug and rings, a and looking at himself in the mirrored wing. The toy is small enough to take in the diaper bag, and the included clip is really handy with ...

Melissa and Doug, 2006

This is how it worked for us
We got this as a gift from the grandparents, and it just sat in the toy box with nobody having interest in it. Then recently I dug it out of its grave and resurrected it with this game I made up: 1) I got my 4-year-old boy to dump! all the numbers out onto a table. 2) He shovels them all into a cloth bag off the edge of the table. 3) We take turn taking out a number from the bag without ...

Great baby's book!
My granddaughter loves this book! She has other similar types of books. They are great for chewing on without getting ruined! No one gets hurt if she throws it! Bright and cheerful colors. Also, very durable!

Lamaze Musical Inchworm11 reviews

Learning Curve

Learning Curve, 2007

Good entertainment for Baby
This is a really cute and well made item. Bright, colourful and makes noise. The tune is short enough that it isn't totally irritating. The measurement side is irrevelant for us as our son was longer than the inchworm at 8 weeks (Hes going to be very tall!) It is a shame that it doesn't have a long clip or hook so that it can be clipped to a pushchair(Stroller) and not fall on to the floor. ...

LeapFrog Crab
Love this toy. Althought my girls can't tell me what colors are the crab legs they sure enjoy the rattle and sucking on the little colored tag legs. Their older cousins also were having a good time trying to teach them the colors as the girls were playing with it.

Baby Einstein Baby's Photo Book4 reviews

Baby Einstein

Baby Einstein, 2007

Perfect Baby Gift
My standard first Christmas gift for my kids is a photo album of favorite people. This is by far the best album. The top is a little carry handle the child can chew on. The pages are adorable, and there are little flaps that ensure the pictures won't slip out. The album is plastic, so of course the pictures kind of stick to the pages, but we're not talking acid-free quality photo stuff, it is ...

Pretty great
I bought this on a whim at Babies R Us. My daughter, who is 10 months, liked the shakers at a church play room, so I thought she might like these too. I was right. She absolutely loves this toy. She immediately figured out how to tap the one shaker to get it to make noises and change color. She even shakes it when it's off in the hopes of getting it to light up. And it keeps her occupied ...

Cute Concept
I bought this for my infant. He, at nine months old, is finally starting to show an interest in it. He is experimenting with the cause and effect of banging on it, both ends of course, and is quickly learning which end produces the noises. It has three different settings, as well as a 'parent freindly' volume control. It's added feature is that it encourages motor development not only in ...

My daughter loves it!
When my daughter was 2 months old, I bought this toy in hopes that it would help her develop her grabbing skills. Not only has she done that, but she LOVES to stare into his eyes and laugh and smile. She has begun having conversations with him as I help him respond to her babbling. The colors on it are also exciting and stimulating for her... who wouldn't smile when you look at him?

This lamb is great to hang on the crib. It makes 4 different sounds that are soothing, and relaxing. It also works great for a background noise. Would definitely recommend.
