Great movie
I loved this movie so much I had to own it on bluray. I have the DVD version, but I wish that PIXAR would have updated it's tour of the Pixar Studios. When this movie was first released, the studio may have been new at that time, but not anymore. This bonus feature is no longer needed on the bluray version.

A FAMILIAR ROAD BUT WORTH ANOTHER TRIP
Jeff Osterhage plays one of those small-town characters who constantly talks about pulling up stakes, moving to the city, and doing something with his life. It soon becomes obvious that he'll never do so, at which point this story has two choices. Either it can have its hero accept and find value in his situation -- there's no place like home, after all -- or it can do what "South of Reno" ...

Buy it, watch it, and be glad you did.
THE MUPPET MOVIE is the first movie that I can actually remember watching in the theater. And I remember the funniest image my little four year-old-mind had ever captured: a car full of puppets driving around with another car upside down on top. I recently watched it again, and I now surprised that the movie has just as much entertainment in store for a 34-year-old as it did for a 4-year-old. ...

Entertaining with great moral lessons, where is the DVD?
We rented this movie the first time we watched it with our six children when it was released in 1991(?). It has become a family favorite and all of those children are grown and we now have ten grandchildren. I was able to locate a previous rental and now I just need to get a VCR working in order to share this with our grand kids. I'm only 50 but I hope it makes DVD status in my lifetime, this is ...

Great movie, excellent style
Actually Jeff Speakman studies a form of Martial Arts called American Kenpo that was founded by Mr Ed Parker. My son and I both study American Kenpo and love to pick out the diffferent techniques that Jeff Speakman's using in the film. Ed Parker is responsible for directing all the fight scenes in the film. Ed Parker is responsible for teaching such notables as Jeff Speakman, Elvis Presley, ...

my kids (2 and 5) LOVE this video - I wish they would make this series on DVD and I would get every one. This is a great entre into the natural world - when they go to the beach they remember practically every word! Unfortunately, in the winter they can't go so the video is great

Loved this movie
I found this much more engaging than the first movie. The first one just didn't do it for me. I was like, Pocahontas and John Smith?! Ummm...what? I think a lot of people didn't like this one because there was such a disconnect from the original. Not for me, though. The first one had its merits, that's for sure, but I found this to be much more interesting. It felt more realistic than most Disney ...

Disappointing
I've long been a Gene Hackman fan, and have been grateful that his career has endured, allowing him to continue landing meaty and interesting roles. The Domino Principle, unfortunately, isn't one of his better movies. Hackman plays Roy Tucker, a convict sent up for murdering his wife's former husband, an abusive drunk. We never learn for certain whether Tucker actually committed the ...

Way To Go
I bought this video tape last summer at a yard sale. My son was only 16 months at the time. Now he is 21 months and absolutely loves this video. He loves the music and constant changes of the animals. I think the narration is fairly decent. It's definately geared towards smaller children, probably 5 and under. I got online to see if I could purchase other videos within this series. Way to ...

not someone to love, they say
The French auteur theory aligns the film director with his film. Although not allowing for workmanlike directors who are able to genre jump, the theory maintains that each product has an imposed and recognisably singular vision. As an independent film maker who produces cinema verite style work, Henry Jaglom is described in this doco by Alex Rubin and Jeremy Workman as individual as Godard or ...

See How They Grow: Sea Animals - For youngsters!
Hi, I'm StoryMaker. Not too long ago we got See How They Grow: Sea Animals VHS from the library. It wasn't a hit, I must say. Both me and my mom found it very childish. Just listen to those animals' goofy voices ...definitely intended for youngsters. It seems like they are making it as least educational as possible. They even say hermit crabs are fish and I have no idea why! It's OK, but you'll ...

Education at its best
This series is one of the best educational video series available. My seven year old daughter owns all these videos and watches them over and over. This one in particular is her favorite. THESE VIDEOS MAKE EXCELLENT GIFTS... I keep a couple stashed in the closet for birthday parties to keep me from running to the store for a gift.
