The Strongest Man in the World [VHS] 18 reviews Kurt Russell, Joe Flynn
Walt Disney Video, 1998
Enjoyable for kids I saw this movie at the right time-when I was about 10 years old circa 1975. Wacky, silly fare about Kurt Russell as a college kid who comes across a weightlifting formula and the crooks who try to steal it.
Good goofy gags for the tot set, especially the guy whose arms turn to rubber when he tries to lift weights.
Adults will not want to bother with this unless they see it with kids or ...

The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes [VHS] 22 reviews Kurt Russell, Cesar Romero

The first of a funtastic Disney trilogy! Medfield College student Dexter Riley(Kurt Russell) was just another underachiever in a group of friends on the brink of being booted out of school by ever-flustered Dean Higgins(Joe Flynn). That is, until an accident with the science lab's new computer results in Dexter getting a super-charged brain. Soon, the world is catering to Dexter and other colleges are vying for him. It's a bit much for ...

The Love Bug [VHS] 50 reviews Dean Jones, Michele Lee
Walt Disney Video, 1997
Best bug! Remembered this movie from way back when and re-lived it all when I saw it again. We had a birthday party for our pastor who just turned 60 so I bought this movie as it was from that era then we showed it at his party where there were around 250 attending. This was a highlight of the evening for most if not all. Totally clean, totally fun.

Twin Sisters [VHS] 2 reviews Stepfanie Kramer, Frederic Forrest
Lions Gate/Trimark Home Ent., 1992
Still may favorite movie after all these years It looked like a walk in the park for Stepfanie to play the double role. I have heard that many didnt like this movie but to me I rate it the highest that it comes, 5 stars. The plot was a real twist at the end, but the bad cop thing really wasnt the best way to go. For a movie that was a tv only release I have to give credit to the writers and actors for giving it the right ump.

Mchale's Navy (1964) [VHS] 7 reviews Ernest Borgnine, Tim Conway
Universal Studios, 1998
McHale's Navy, The Movie As a fan of the television series, this movie follows through with the same style of fun and entertaining antics of the crew of the PT-73. My memories of viewing the movie many times on television broadcasting always center on the hilarious, unbridled talents of Tim Conway, who carried his comedic skill over to the Carrol Burnett Show, where he would ofttimes bring the skits to a brief halt when ...

Mchale's Navy Joins Air Force [VHS] 5 reviews Joe Flynn, Tim Conway
Universal Studios, 1998
Mostly for fans of the t.v. show Even though this movie doesn't include the main character in the television series (Ernest Borgnine), I enjoyed this a great deal. The Ensign Parker (Tim Conway) and Captain Binghampton (Joe Flynn) interactions are as well done as any in the T.V. series. Think of the movie as McHale's Navy starring Tim Conway and you will be close to what this movie is all about. Another plus is the fellow that ...

Primary Motive [VHS] 2 reviews Justine Bateman, John Bedford Lloyd
Starz / Anchor Bay, 1997
A Tutorial in Politics This film is about the race for Governor in Massachusetts in the Republican primary. One is Chris Poulas, the conservative candidate and front runner. (He resembles Tom Kean, the Republican NJ governor who raised sales, income, and property taxes yet was re-elected with a rigged election.) The other candidate is liberal John Eastham (whose height and haircut recall John Kerry). The story is told ...

Now You See Him Now You Don't 1 review Cesar Romero, Joe Flynn
Walt Disney Home Video
excellent It was really great to be able to watch one of my all time favorite movies again. I remember going to see the movie as a teenager and simply loving it. As a die hard fan of the t v series "Batman" I was amazed at the similarities between Ceasar Romero's portrayal of A.J. Arno in the film to his portrayal of The Joker.
As an added bonus, the quality of the video was excellent as was the ...

Red Rock West [VHS] 41 reviews Nicolas Cage, Craig Reay
Sony Pictures, 1997
A Fun Noir Which Leaves You Shaking Your Head In Disbelief! This is an excellent modern-day film noir...."excellent" in that it's interesting, start-to-finish. There are some holes in here and some goofy parts that make you shake your head in disbelief.....but I haven't found anyone who didn't get caught up in this story. and enjoy the movie.
The film has the right amount of action, suspense, plot twists and interesting characters. In addition, it ...
