Miguel Ferrer, Harvey Fierstein

Walt Disney Video, 2000

Great DVD
I ordered this for my granddaughter who has suddenly discovered Mulan and didn't have the DVD. She sat and watched very quietly for the first 45 minutes (she's two) and continues to want to watch it.

It's Ultra Unfortunate That This Show Never Caught On
David Lynch's second TV project after his phenomenal Twin Peaks - The First Season (Special Edition) is one I really enjoy.Within the eight episodes presented here (all that was produced and only three of which, including the pilot aired on TV in my area) revolve around a television network called ZBC's (stands for Zyblocknic Broadcasting Company)attempt to put on 'The Lester Guy' show and the ...

Stephen King's The Stand264 reviews
Rick Aviles, Ossie Davis

Republic Pictures, 1998

Excellent adaptation
This book needed the 6 hours of movie. It was very long and complicated of a story. To do anything less than a mini-series would have been rediculous. This is so well casted and written, I have watched it many times! Gary Sinise is perfect!

My Hero Stephen King
Now, I had read alot of the reviews on this movie and was skeptical, there are a few negative remarks. Being an avid King fan I thought well, gotta at least watch it once. "I LOVED that movie", I wasn't expecting that ending at all. Once again, "Stephen King is the man"!!! It was an awesome movie and I thought a totally great ending.

Twentieth Century Fox, 1997

1980's movies are awesome
.This movie might be a low budget film from the 80's, but it is one of the coolest. It is just like American Pie and all those teen heart throb movies they have now a days. When was the last time you saw "battle of the bands" featured in a movie? I cannot believe the sexual sense of humor they actually got away with back then, but it rocks! Not only will guys enjoy it, but all you gals will ...

Cruel Doubt6 reviews
Blythe Danner, Matt McGrath

Starmaker Entertainment, 1996

great
I saw the movie first, then read the book, they were both good. The acting by Blythe Danner was fantastic as Bonnie Von Stein. The other reviewer who said it was disappointing, learn how to spell before you submit a review.

The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca35 reviews
Esai Morales, Andy Garcia

Sony Pictures, 1999

Wonderful movie
This was one of the best movies I have seen. The flashback technique was somewhat like Mulholland Drive, but the viewer was allowed to achieve total understanding at the end. (Although it might take a couple of viewings to really understand.) Every actor and scene contributed to the mystery which gradually illuminated complicated political, social, artistic, and psychological truths in the ...

Another Stakeout19 reviews
Richard Dreyfuss, Emilio Estevez

Walt Disney Video, 2002

Bothell ROCKS!
I can't believe someone feels just like me about Richard, and the ambiance and relaxation value of "Another Stakeout". It all works from Las Vegas to the end, even the Stickley furniture. The comedic relationship between the three actors and the script is perfection!

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me201 reviews
Mädchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook

New Line Home Video, 1998

Never have seen Twin Peaks series. Good film, excellent music
I have never seen the Twin Peaks TV series, I did not know anything about Laura Palmer, so my review is not biased or comparative. I catched this film on TV, I knew it was David Lynch from minute one. Here Lynch is totally unleashed, and yes, the story sometimes can turn confusing, but the images are mesmerizing and the music is excellent, I inmediatily loved the bar rock song and the track ...

Blank Check (Slip)27 reviews
Brian Bonsall, Karen Duffy

Walt Disney Video, 1995

GENIUS!
Like a young Paul Newman, Brian Bonsall bursts onto the screen in his first full-length feature like an acting tsunami. And his acting chops are so powerful that he leaves lots of damage in his wake (much like the horribly tragic real-life tsunamis). If you haven't seen this wonderful comedy yet, you must check it out immediately. Any hesitation on your part will only lead to minutes of your ...

Kevin Costner, Anthony Quinn

Sony Pictures, 1994

Excellent Film
If you read Mr. Keoh review (Amazon Critic) and you haven't heard a raving PC liberal movie critic yet this week then go back up and check him out. But seriously don't waste your time. This is one of those films the critics love to slam but I saw it in the theater and loved it then and still do. Costner is a retiring Navy fighter pilot who has a friend in Mexico (Anthony Quinn) who is a drug ...

Bridget Fonda, Gabriel Byrne

Warner Home Video, 1994

Saw this remake before the original.......
If everyone thought the same, life would be boring. I saw third remake with Bridget Fonda befor ethe original..... This is by a long way an improvement....my only criticism is that some of the shoot out scenes are OTT.....but perhaps not much more than those with Jack Bauer in 24!! Loved it!!

Guardian (1990)12 reviews
Jenny Seagrove, Dwier Brown

Universal Studios, 1998

Very terrifing horror fantasy !!!
I saw this movie in the 90's on TV. It's a very stilish horror fantasy, by far superior to "Cat People" (1982). Good story, great performances of Jenny Seagrove and Dwier Brown and astonishing visuals. One of the main elements of this movie was the ill atmosphere, the mistery that was surrounding the entire plot, which reminded me of Stephen King's "Sleepwalkers" (1992). Another good ...

Magoo On DVD
I loved this Magoo series when I was a little boy and it aired in prime time on NBC Saturday nights. I only wish the series now was available on dvd so my young family could easily enjoy them and develop an appreciation for the classics. Please bring the entire series back on DVD. I am especially interested in Magoos TREASURE ISLAND, NOAHS ARK,CAPT KIDD, MOBY DICK, and ROBIN HOOD. The Don ...
