Something for Joey [VHS]20 reviews
Gerald S. O'Loughlin, Marc Singer

Vision Video, 1997

"The most touching movie I've ever seen!"
When I first saw this movie, I must have been about 13 or 14 years old. I can honestly say that I've never cried harder watching this movie than any other. My mother was watching it with me when I first saw it on local TV and she even asked me if I was ok, I was crying that hard. It's a very inspirational story of a little boy named Joey who has leukemia, his older brother is his hero. ...

Short Circuit [VHS]143 reviews
Ally Sheedy, Steve Guttenberg

20th Century Fox, 1996

"NEW HI-DEF TRANSFER"
...as the sticker states on the outer cellophane of this BluRay. Well,,,,, AWESOME! But unfortunately awesome isn't enough to describe the superior quality of this BluRay. It looks better than it ever did on the big screen, when the movie first came out! LOL While I realize that there can be so many variances for each individual film (including DURING INITIAL PRODUCTION), if there is a current ...

Bad Medicine [VHS]10 reviews
Steve Guttenberg, Alan Arkin

Fox Home Entertainment, 2002

Must see before studying at UAG!
If you are thinking of studying medicine at the Universidad Autonima de Guadalajara, you must see this film first! Having been there, I can tell you there are schools like this. Rumor in Guadalajara is that this film is banned, and the witer went to UAG. The setting is fanciful, but everything else is a fantastic portrait of the administration, students, and faculty at UAG. UAG has better ...

Surrender (1987) [VHS]5 reviews
Sally Field, Michael Caine

Warner Home Video, 1993

Michael Caine as the Ultimate Underachiever
Why has this not been released in DVD format. I absolutely hate the fact that a terrific movie such as this will go unnoticed, to a whole new generation of movie goers. This movie allows Michael Caine to flex his acting chops, and portray the futilistic, down on love writer, who has given up on life and love. Then along comes Sally Field ... I LOVE her in this flick. She portrays such ...

LOVE THIS MOVIE
I LOVE THIS MOVIE, it never gets old for me. I believe it is the best movie Ashley and Mary-Kate Olson have made. I am 21, and I am still a kid at heart and I love it and I will continue to watch it even when I am eighty years old. Very Pleased
I had this movie as tween and loved it. My daughter is almost three and we had been making do with my old VHS version until I thought to look for it on Amazon. I didn't get my hopes up because let's face it, it was .05 cents. But it was delivered in about a week in perfect condition and the DVD is good quality. I am so happy and now my daughter can enjoy this movie for years to come.

Steve Guttenberg, Bubba Smith

Astonishing!!!
This movie is great!! It tells the story of a Police Captain (Howard Hessemen) who realizes that he needs some "Healthy Young Men." His brother tells him there are places he could go, bars of such. He asks "Does your wife know about this?" Then Hesseman's brother drops an entire can of fish food in his fishbowl of goldfish. Nice. This film is graced with brilliant acting performaces. Diner [VHS]48 reviews
Steve Guttenberg, Mickey Rourke

MGM (Video & DVD), 1996

The original!!!!!!!!!
DINER was the first film with normal long conversations "about nothing" among the protagonists. The SEINFELD series, Tarantino, and others acknowledge their debt to Barry Levinson's seminal film. And of course the film kick started the careers of O'Rourke, Bacon, Stern, Guttenberg, Reiser and Barkin. A must see masterpiece.

Village People - Can't Stop the Music [VHS]75 reviews
Alex Briley, David Hodo

Starz / Anchor Bay, 2002

Most gloriously gay movie ever!
This movie is the most magnificently gay movie ever made! To me this movie will always be a happy childhood pleasure that has morphed into a guilty adult pleasure. *NOTES OF INTEREST* In the scene where Samantha is recruiting people for the band, watch her ice cream cone, the flavors swap places at least 3 times. And in the cattle call scene for band talent that is none other than Blackie Lawless ...

The Day After [VHS]139 reviews
Jason Robards, JoBeth Williams

We're Still Alive Because Of This Movie
According to his memoirs, then-President Ronald Reagan was so disturbed after viewing this film on ABC, he changed his policy toward the Soviet Union. Four years later this film aired on Soviet television. According to a telegram sent to director Nicholas Meyer by President Reagan, the movie convinced Gorbachev to negotiate the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty in Reykjavik, Iceland ...
