Jackie's first Jackie Chan Movie
Jackie Chan movies are truly a genre in themselves. Part action, part comedy, with a tad of drama and story, they aren't really able to be catergorized in any way other than as "Jacki Chan Movies." So, when you see Police Story, you get to see the first really Jackie Chan movie. It's a bit more raw and imperfect compared to the rest, but is in many ways his best. Jackie almost kills himself ...

TRUE CLASSIC~!!!
This is one of my most memorable Jackie Chan movie which I saw it for the very first time when I was 12 years old, it was 1980 in Japan. Jackie Chan popularity was booming back then, and he made many TV show appearance in Japan. Now almost 25 years later in my life, I finally get to see this film again, here in the USA. The movie was better when I saw it as a child in the past. I suppose I have ...

My least favorite police story
Of the four good police stories (new police story wasnt that good), this is my least favorite. Not because the movie lacked anything in any way, but just because I like the other three that much more. This one seemed to have the least daring stunts and the least amount of fight scenes. Having said all of that, this movie is AWESOME!

The Greatest
"Drunken Wu Tang", the greatest martial arts movie ever made! It's a rip-roaring tale of martial mayhem, as the Wu Tang clan find themselves employing every crazy stunt in the book in order to combat groin-munching monsters, handheld cluster bombs, giant pipe kung fu, and the spiky antics of porcupine back. Don't miss the Yuen Brothers in their greatest adventure ever. This is the tale of one ...

His Best Film After Enter The Dragon!
This movie (called Fist Of Fury overseas) was made before Enter The Dragon and, in my opinion, ranks just behind ETD! While all of Bruce's films and fight scenes are legendary, if this one or ETD is on TV, everything stops! LOL! The plot, like ETD, is very basic. Bruce comes back to his martial arts school to find out his teacher was dead! Not only that, he suspects was murdered and goes on a ...

In The Beginning, There Was Five Fingers Of Death
It must be hard for young people today to imagine the impact this film had on movie goers when it played for weeks in theaters and took people's breath away as this was the first martial arts film to come from overseas. The title Five Fingers Of Death was what Warner Bros. named it when they released it before creating their own Enter The Dragon with Bruce Lee. This film was released before any ...

Not PC, Not Your Typical Kung-Fu Flick, Very Enjoyable
As soon as you see one of the Venoms instantly turn into a mentally challenged killer who mumbles and smiles idiotically, you realize this is more of a comedy than a kung-fu movie. That's what makes this a classic. The training scenes are above average and the fights are pretty good. The revenge that surmounts in this story is superb as you hope the blind one seeks his vengeance for getting his ...

Legendary Kung-Fu classic meets Shakespearean epic
It's true, it doesn't have quite the action and hand-to-hand of 'other classics' like, i.e., The Kid with The Golden Arm, but you have to own this title anyways, or you're just posing. The movie is different from those 'other classics' in that it's hero is more of a 'real' person than the hero in those 'other classics'. He can't kick your head off, and he can't whip his ponytail through your ...

A surprisingly good sequel to Lee's Chinese Connection
Chinese Connection 2 (released as Fist of Fury 2 in many parts of the world) is a sequel to Bruce Lee's memorable film The Chinese Connection (Fist of Fury), taking up the story immediately following the death of Chen Chen, who was killed in a most memorable ending after avenging the murder of his Teacher. The Ching Wu school is, to put it mildly, in disarray, and this condition quickly begins ...

Just say WOW!
The story isn't that good. The humour is awful. Some of the sets are a joke. But the action? Man, you just can't fault this baby. The twin nunchaku sequence is superb. The fight with Bob Wall is unbelievable. But the true triumph is the Chuck Norris fight. Has to be one of the greatest fight scenes ever filmed. Fantastic. The choreography (entirely Lee's work) is matched only by the final ...

Jet Li stars in his first modern action film. excellent choice
I know I know, this film is just as old as the way I remembered it when I was growing up but I can tell you that it is a great kung fu film to watch. This is like pre Jackie Chan/Jet Li kinda film. Give it a try. I guarantee that you will love it.
