Best child actresses Anna and Christina are two of the best child actresses I've ever seen act together. This movie symbolizes the meaning of true friendship. By the way, does anyone know when and if it will come out on DVD?

I'd Climb the Highest Mountain [VHS] 5 reviews Susan Hayward, William Lundigan
20th Century Fox, 1995
wonderful engaging story A beautiful lovely story of a southern preacher in the backwoods of Georgia with his newly acquired city wife, Susan Hayward. An engaging story about the hard times of life and how the characters of people were forged through adversity. Its a shame that Hollywood is incapable of anything decent nowdays. This film is a good example of the good that hollywood could do by influencing people ...

The Other Side of the Mountain [VHS] 25 reviews Marilyn Hassett, Beau Bridges
MCA Universal Studios, 1998
Thinking back on a great movie I was reminded of this movie seeing an aging Beau Bridges on "Desperate Housewives" last night. I recall seeing him for the first time in "The Other Side of the Mountain" when I was just 16 years old. I had such a crush on him after seeing this movie! Beau may not have held up any better than I have after all these years, but I bet this movie would still hold up, because it's theme of ...

Mountain Family Robinson [VHS] 4 reviews Susan Damante, Robert Logan
Anchor Bay/Starz, 1993
Very Pleased I am pleased and happy that I purchased The 3rd and final movie of The Wilderness Family. It was very well done and just as entertaining as the first and second movie. My favorite was the 2nd episode mostly because I love snow scenes and this one had many. I would have loved to see them carry out the beautiful music of the first two movies but other than that the movie was great. I will watch ...

Candy Mountain [VHS] 2 reviews Kevin J. O'Connor, Harris Yulin
Republic Pictures, 1994
Quirky Road Trip In Search of the Great Rock Guitar "Candy Mountain" is a fine film by the great Robert Frank that combines a minor coming of age theme with a road trip in search of the elusive and great hermit builder of the world's best electric guitars. This mythic figure, one Elmore Silk, has moved to rural Cape Breton and disappeared with his fame and guitars, leaving nothing behind him. Kevin O'Connor plays the innocent and affectless ...

Giant of Thunder Mountain [VHS] 1 review Cloris Leachman, Richard Kiel
Plaza Entertainment, 1998
The giant that captures your heart! This is a very good heart warming story of not judging a book by its cover. The cast is top notch and Richard Kiel was great. The supporting cast is a great mix of faces you'll immediately recognize and new faces you'll look forward to seeing again. I bought this for my kids and they just loved it. A very good movie and I reccommend it to anyone looking for good family entertainment.

The Mountain [VHS] 7 reviews Spencer Tracy, Robert Wagner
Paramount Home Video, 1995
One of my Spencer Tracy all time favorites This is absolutley one of my favorite all time movies. Spencer Tracy plays an old famous Mountaineer who has retired to his modest home to tend sheep. Then an Airplane crash on a nearby mountaintop changes his life. His young greedy womanizing brother (Played by a very young Robert Wagner) gets him to lead a climb to the crash site.
It's also a good love story. The old man makes some very ...

Beyond the Next Mountain [VHS] 12 reviews Chong Aier, Narola Aier
Vision Video, 1981
Deep, Rich Well Told Story I know nothing of who actually produced this video, but it is very well done. The true story of Rochunga Pudaite (and the Welsh missionary Watkin Roberts) is alone deep and compelling . . . a young man is saved during the Welsh revivals of the early 1900s and travels alone to the highlands of India to evangelize a nation of headhunters with little outside contact . . . . after living among them ...

Buttercream Gang in Secret of Treasure Mountain [VHS] 4 reviews Brandon Blaser, Jason Johnson
Bonneville Ent., 2003
Simply Majikal The closer that we approach to the witching hour the better this movie gets! This series has simply put a spell on my family and I! The characters, the story, and the special effects are not to be missed - and some of the suspense might even scare the younger wizards in your crew. There even is hidden, deleted footage at the end of the credits - lets just say that the window jenkins didnt become ...

Cold Mountain [VHS] 422 reviews Jude Law, Nicole Kidman
Miramax Home Entertainment, 2004
The `coldness' of this mountain remains its only flaw... It's very easy to enjoy `Cold Mountain'. In fact, I think that it would be hard NOT to enjoy it. The film really contains nearly everything needed to make for an entertaining and thrilling and memorable ride. The storyline in engaging (even if some have noted it runs a tad `false'), the acting is enthralling (even if certain performances don't hold up as well over time), the cinematography is ...
