I have missed my Sharon, Lois & Bram's Elephant Show for years and years. I am so glad that I ordered this video cassette. I can remember everyday in the summer my grandpa would come and get me from my house and take me over his to watch it. This is probably the best Outta Control yet. Not only is Ranma a girl (hence Ranma-Chan) 90% of the time but it continues the comedy that was lost for a while in the Outta Control Series. I can faithfully say that Ranma is back and don't judge Outta Control by the last few bad one's.

Heartbreaking film
The video store near my home miraculously has a copy of this DVD in their classics section and I rented it a couple of years ago, not knowing what to expect. It is a haunting, beautiful lovestory with incredible performances. A fine film in every way. I loved it. I have rented it and watched it again since then. I always recommend it to my friends who enjoy classics.

This movie had me so engrossed that I researched quite a bit about Philip Heseltine and Peter Warlock - whose relationship is the basis of the story - and discovered that most of the film's details were fabricated. I saw this movie when it was first released in the '80s. Have been looking for it for years, first on VHS, then DVD. A great movie, in the same vein as Devil's Arithmatic". Believable characters -if you excuse George Segal's lousy performance--Amanda Payes is great. Glad to finally find it.
